Product Description
"For the most part, the stuff in this book will not be advertised on billboards to draw you off the highway exits. This is a book for people who like the quirky, the offbeat, and the unusual. If you have absolutely no interest in how to astro-turf your car or where to find the John Wayne Museum, or a good frog race, you might want to buy one of those other books...." | Customer Reviews: Indiana can be fun. No really, it can! January 23, 2008 spitgrrl (libraryland, indiana) This is an excellent book for anyone looking for fun stuff to do in Indiana. It's full of unusual attractions (which are organized by region)and includes plenty of interesting information about a state which many consider to be hopelessly uninteresting. I've used this book to plan mini road trips with my friends which is a cheap and amusing diversion when you've got nothing to do on a weekend. It's also a fun way to get to know the state and to show proper appreciation for such impressive attractions as the World's Largest Trowel.
Great as a stand-alone January 7, 2010 Susan Fenton This is a great book if you buy it alone and not as a part 2 for the first one, but it's almost exactly the same as the first book. Luckily the cost was very small. However it would have been nice to know. Dick Wolfsie's writing is fun, interesting and makes you want to see what he's writing about. Glad we have the first book and will share this with someone else.
